The first celebration  of thanksgiving day was in the year 1620. the pilgrims decided celebrated with the Indias  who helped  them survive their  first year.

The Thankgiving day was officialy proclaimed by president Lincoln in 1863. after in 1941 the congress  declared The thanksgiving day with a public holiday.
